It is shown that the structures in the universe can be interpreted to show a wheel of time. We carry out an analysis in the modified gravity models, like f(R) model, and show that the due to local observations small arc at a given spacetime point invariably indicates an arrow of time from past to future, though on a large scale it is not a linear flow. It is supported by observations on largest scales.
